Salaried employee Explanation: Just a bit of a shot in the dark! I am trying to differentiate the two categories on the basis of wages and salaries. Could well be a bit out of date, that form of differentiation! |

professional staff Explanation: I think this is to differentiate between "employees" and "professionally qualified staff", as in "Steuerberater". If this were for a GB text I would perhaps use "employees" and "management team" to make the distinction. I would say "Mitarbeiter" would be the "workers" and the "Berufsträger" are the "professional staff" hence the differing rates quoted, hourly or otherwise. Perhaps I should have made it clearer, the "staff" are treated differently because of their "professional" rather than "skill" status. |
