(to) satisfy the claims of the creditor taking proceedings for the enforcement of a judgment
Explanation:
I pretty much gleaned this from Dietl/Lorenz, Dictionary of Legal, Commercial and Political Terms, German-English, 5th ed., which—among others, e.g., Romain—I highly recommend for these types of translations.

I suppose one other trick that I used was to look up the translation for "die Vollstreckung aus einem Urteil betreiben," i.e., "to enforce a judgment; to take proceedings for the enforcement of a judgment" (Ibid., p. 793), which might not be the first thing that would come to mind, but is the way this is typically worded.

Good luck! :-)
