German to English translations [PRO] Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s) / contract obligation
German term or phrase:Anspruch auf Separierung
This term comes from a contract for a supplier of automotive parts. The full context is: "Im Reklamationsfall hat der Lieferant keinen Anspruch auf Separierung nach der Vereinnahmung der Teile." It pertains to the case in which a supplier makes separate deliveries of parts with the same batch number to the contractor. Any help greatly appreciated!
Some users believe that the awarding of KudoZ points detracts from the KudoZ experience. It is possible for such users to opt to make a question "not for points" when asking. KudoZ points can not be earned by answering such questions. Found@ ABOUT, Kudoz
Just curious about your choice to post this as a "not for points" question- any particular reason for that?

claim of severability
Explanation: This site says:
Savings (Severability) Clause
Most contracts include a savings clause, which is meant to ensure that the contract remains enforceable even if part of the contract is later held invalid:
If any provision of this Contract is held unenforceable, then such provision will be modified to reflect the parties' intention. All remaining provisions of this Contract shall remain in full force and effect.
In the absence of a savings clause, it is possible that if a single clause is held invalid, the entire contract will also be rendered invalid.
