German to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s) / Power of attorney
German term or phrase: von mir und mir gegenüber
From a standard power of attorney:
I take this to mean that the representative can act in cases where the grantor of the power of attorney performs a legally significant action or acts in response to one performed 'upon' her. Is there a more elegant way of putting this?

by me or in respect of me

Explanation:
"against me" sounds too strong, as we're not talking about the bringing of court action, simply about any activities of daily life. Likewise it is not "bring" so much as "perform".
