German term or phrase: durch schriftliche Mitteilung
Dear colleagues! I have a special question: I know that schriftliche Mitteilung normally means "notice in writing". However, in the sentence below I have the problem that Kündigungsfrist also means "term of notice". Is there also another translation for "by schriftliche Mitteilung" (to avoid two times "notice")? Thanks a lot in advance!

notification in writing
Explanation:
You could use "notification/notice in writing" for "schriftliche Mitteilung" and use "cancellation period" for "Kündigungsfrist" to avoid using "notice" twice.
