German term or phrase: Gewährleistungs- und Haftungsausschluss

Extremely urgent again, needless to say. Is "Gewährleistungs- und Haftungsausschluss" just "exclusion of warranty and liability"? Leo had "caveat emptor" for Gewährleistungsausschluß, and nothing at all for "Haftungsausschluss", and there are few hits for "exclusion of warranty and liability" on Google, though it does at least get a handful.

Are there any legal beagles out there who actually understand this stuff? So far it seems a lot of the answers I've got are from non-experts like me, although I'm grateful for any reasonable input. But would like to be able to have some confidence in the terminology I eventually go with. Anyway, TIA for your help once more.

Great - thanks again, Lydia! Volkmar makes a very good point, but the thing is, I don't do this kind of stuff very often, and specialised German-English dictionaries are almost impossible to get in New Zealand. I have to buy them at great expense from overseas. But if I start getting this sort of work on a more regular basis, I'll certainly try to get a specialised legal dictionary. Anyway, thanks again to you all for your assistance.

agree  LegalTrans D: Absolutely! To Rowan: I wouldn't use LEO for this kind of work. LEO is fine as far as it goes, but for legal texts it may be advisable to use a more specialized source/dictionary.
