German to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law: Patents, Trademarks, Copyright / patent
German term or phrase: Empf. zeit
This appears at the bottom of several pages in a French patent I'm translating, like so:

Empf.zeit: 14/01 MODIFIED PAGE

I'm supposing this is the modification time, but since I don't know any German, your help will be appreciated!

English translation:Time received
Explanation:
I think it stands for "Empfangszeit" or time received (would make sense if it's a fax.

Could also be "Empfohlene Zeit" or recommended time.

agree  xxxIanW: With "Empfangszeit"

agree  Steffen Walter: Empfangszeit seems logical. If "Empfohlene Zeit", then a blank space would be likely to appear between "Empf." and "Zeit".

neutral  Colin Newberry: The "14/01" makes me think of date instead of time.
26 mins

agree  Trudy Peters: with Colin. Date rec'd, even though it doesn't say that in Ge.

agree  Marta Alfonso Perales: Date received

agree  D D: empfangszeit - 14/01 can also be page 01 out of 14!
