The UK HMRC = Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs, plus Local Authorities (for Council Tax), keep sending letters threatening a distraint of assets for late payment of tax. So distraint (orders) and levy of execution should trip off UK (non-) taxpayers' tongues.

agree  AllegroTrans: yes, assuming this is what it concerns (asker has been asked to supply more context but has not replied)

  -> Thx. Many of us in the UK have been threatened by the HMRC or L.A. with distraint proceedings for unpaid tax. So the term should come 'naturally'.
