German to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law (general) / trademark law
German term or phrase: Die Rechtslage sowie der Sachverhalt sind nicht liquide
Again, this is a SWISS legal document.

The term *liquide* is unfamiliar to me in this context.

Assistance is appreciated. Thank you.

English translation:fluid / transparent s.u.
Explanation:
I suggest 'fluid' simply from the 'imagined' context.
However, in English 'liquid' has a number of different meanings:
fluid (not fixed), transparent (water) as well as a few others that don't fit at all.
As 'liquid' is based on Latin, the meanings of it in various languages are probably quite closely related.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Transparent could work in terms of the context. Thank you for the pointer in this direction. Camila

Asker: Very confusing - transparent was a good option - although I cannot see a connection to liquid except see-through. Thanks to all for help.

agree  Ted Wozniak: Agree with fluid, but not transparant - they do not mean the same thing.
