English translation: mail-order pharmacy

Bus/Financial - Law (general) / pharmacies
German term or phrase: Versandapotheke
Die Drogeriekette hatte in Kooperation mit einer *Versandapotheke* einen Bestell- und Abholservice für Medikamente in xx-Filialen eingerichtet, durch welchen die üblichen deutschlandweiten Preise deutlich unterboten wurden.

I am about equally dissatisfied with "shipment pharmacy" and "shipping pharmacy", although both get google hits.

Dear Gert,
You are quite right to have qualms about ‘shipping/shipment’. To a literal-minded (and seagoing) British reader this appears to exclude road, rail and air.
Kindest regards

Notes to answerer
Asker: ship (v.): c.1300, "to send or transport by ship," from ship (n.). Transf. to other means of conveyance (railroad, etc.) from 1857, originally Amer.Eng. Shipment "that which is shipped" is from 1861. Mr Swift, muchas gracias for your fine proposal and sharp-witted comment. It actually makes me wonder why I would never have translated 'shipment' to 'Verschiffung' or the like in any case before.

Asker: ;-D

agree  writeaway: I think that mail-order is a universal English term. it does happen. Just like Versand is used in all Germany speaking countries, non?
