see below Explanation: In reverse order of your query: Rabattgesetz n (Re) Rebates Law, of 25 Nov 1933 and amendments [Schäfer, Hyperbook Wirtschaftsenglisch] Preisangabenverordnung - Price Indication Ordinance www.iid.de/rahmen/iukdgebt.html (and quite a few more URLs) As far as the Fernabsatzgesetz goes, it’s brandnew, in effect only since the middle of this year. Rough equivalents might be telemarketing act, telesales act, statute governing internet sales. Haven’t found any resource yet that gives a definitive translation. I’d probably use telemarketing act since telemarketing is a fairly broad term. BTW, you can find the entire statute under http://www.fernabsatzgesetz.de/ Also, you can find English translations of some German statutes under this URL (might not help much in this case, but it's a useful URL to have in your bookmarks): http://iecl.iuscomp.org/gla/statutes/statutes.htm HTH! |
