If the Debtor makes a payment when it is not in fact due, then the Bank will count it towards the portion of the principal amount of the loan that is the latest to become due, thereby changing the total term during which the loan should be repaid.

anteil = share, i.e. each share or rate in a repayment schedule
What they are saying is that any payment made to the bank for which no outstanding debts or payments to, will be collected against the last instalment due, thereby reducing the total number of repayments.
