es liegt mir auf der Zunge, aber will einfach nicht "kommen"...

Aufgrund der erhobenen klinischen und paraklinischen Befunde konnten wir eine frische myokardiale Infarzierung mit an Sicherheit grenzender Wahrscheinlichkeit ausschließen.

Another option would be with "virtually"

The ... clinical and paraclinical results made it virtually possible to exclude/rule ...

In any case I would rephrase it in English and not try to retain the pedantic German formulation.

Here's another version, but I don't our ProZians would approve of it.

It stated that a very high degree of probability is required ("einer sehr hohen naheliegender Wahrscheinlichkeit."), but that this did not mean a probability almost reaching certainty ("eine an Sicherheit grenzende Wahrscheinlichkeit.").
