Explanation:
The waiting period is the time before either the animal may be slaughtered for flesh consumption, or - with dairy lifestock - before the milk may be consumed.
Aufzeichnungen are the recording of all data (which animal, kind of medicine, dosage, waiting period etc. - see second link).
Example sentence(s):- The use of medicine is only allowed to keep the cattle alive or to avoid unnecessary disease from the animals. Each use of medicine has to be recorded. After using medicine the waiting period has to be three times as long as prescibed
