German to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Livestock / Animal Husbandry / laying hens | | German term or phrase: Auslauf | "...der Auslauf für die Legehennen..."
Since "free-range eggs" are "Freilandeier", would "free range" be a suitable translation for "Auslauf"? Or is "range" already sufficient?
Or is there a better word?
(I assume that "Auslauf" in my text means the fenced-in area where the hens can roam around, like on a small ranch or similar - I don't have more details.) |
