Progress tracking / scheduling Explanation: Other possibilities "Abschnittsbezeichung" doesn't really put it into context): SAP, translates "Terminverfolgung" as "monitoring of Dates" in their PA-PA (Personnel Administration) module, and as "date control" in the CO-PC (Product Cost Controlling) module. "Progress tracking" (proposed above) is what Hamblock/Wesels suggest. Good luck! Steve SAP, Hamblock/Wesels |

scheduling, planning, and control Explanation: These are the standard terms used in project management. A Google search confirmed that these terms have not changed since my days in construction. Here are a few citations: http://info.greenwood.com/books/0899307/0899307302.html “The book organizes quantitative techniques into an integrated framework for project planning, scheduling, and control. Numerous illustrative examples are presented.” http://www.powells.com/biblio/44200-44400/0471028584.html “An extensive bibliography covers books, articles, and periodicals on project planning, scheduling, and control using CPM and related subjects.” http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/ASIN/0071360506/qid=9803... “Unique among project management books, Project Planning, Scheduling & Control is renowned for its applications-oriented, non-theoretical understanding of the flexibility required in day-to-day management situations.” I hope these fit in with the context you have.
