An Austrian CV of a medical doctor.

An entry:

"1995 – 1999 Leitung der Abteilung für Technik und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit 2. Weltkongress für Psychotherapie"

Öffentlichkeitsarbeit is PR, but how does it go with Technik? Does Technik here have the meaning of 'origanizational aspects?'

It does not seem likely that technik means something else. It also sounds more English to say of than for. I searched a little on google but could not find an official translation of this for you. The website for the world congress for psychotherapy is not that revealing in regards to this.
