German to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Management
German term or phrase:Planerfüllungsgrad
"Zur Steuerung der Leistungserbringung werden Kennzahlen entwickelt und eingesetzt. Ein einfach zu handhabendes Control Dashboard mit wenigen, aussagekräftigen Kennzahlen unterstützt die Führungskräfte auf unterschiedlichen Eben dabei, Indikatoren wie Produktivität, Zielerreichung (hours earned /hours spend), Planerfüllungsgrad etc. zeitaktuell zu bewerten und korrigierende Maßnahmen einzuleiten."
I'm finding it hard to come up with something concise for Planerfüllungsgrad - to me it seems almost the same as Zielerreichung. The text is aimed at plant operators, maintenance, industry etc NOT retail, sales. This is more or less the extent of it, really just a paragraph promoting the benefits of the control dashboard.

So would it be best to somehow combine the two - (achievement/fulfillment/... of targets and....!?), or
achievement of objectives (hours earned/hours spent), degree to which plans have been fulfilled etc.
its all a bit of a mouthful....

AND (hours earned /hours spend) is in the original source text, nothing to do with me ;) hardly any hits for it whatever the spelling - earned value management did come up in that context tho..
As I said in the question it has nothing to do with sales ;) I guess a detailed plan would include a budget tho - planning and scheduling is a huge part of maintenance work and there are even "five years plans" for turnarounds and other maintenance work that has to be carried out at regular intervals by law!
I ended up using target attainment for "Zielerreichung" and a more literal translation for "Planerfuellungsgrad"

Many thanks for all the suggestions. They prove that my original dilemma - how to distinguish between "Zielerreichung" and "Planerfuellung" is valid. As I was planning to use targets for "Zielerreichung", I cant really use target attainment here. "Plan-" refers to planning (and scheduling) work orders, repairs, maintenance work etc. from beginning to end. So I guess - to what extent the original plan has been realised - is more or less whats meant. I think I will probably try and combine the two terms in one. I really dont know yet who to give the points to as all answers have been helpful!! Thanks again ;)
The wording "plan" sounds a bit too inflexible to me. Like the five years plans of the EU comission. So target would be more a word of the corporate´s world.
Explanation: In the context of a plan, 'Erfüllung' means implementation or execution.

I just saw that your sentence says "...Planerfüllungsgrad etc. zeitaktuell zu bewerten". With the "bewerten" coming up, I suggest that you omit the "degree of" part of my suggestion. With "bewerten", it'll boil down to evaluate plan implementation or evaluation of plan implementation.
