This is from a lawyers' letter about a complaint involving auto industry suppliers and responsibility for a material defect in a stamping part supplied for a 'throttle valve control' (Drosselklappensteuerung) casing/housing. I suspected at first that the 'Ramm' is part of the casing, but it may also be part of the stamping part.

"Die Lieferkette lautet:

"AAAA - BBBB - CCCC - DDDD

"AAAA liefert an CCCC zwei Kunststoffteile, die das Gehäuse für eine Drosselklappensteuerung bilden..... An dem von AAAA gelieferten Stanzteil wurde ein Span gefunden, der eine Verbindung zwischen zwei Kontakten herstellen und möglicherweise einen Kurzschluss verursachen kann. Bei der Analyse des Fehlerbildes ergab sich, dass dieser Span durch ein Stanzgrat verursacht wird....

"Der Grat bzw. Span stellt eindeutig einen Sachmangel dar. Die von BBBB erstellte Teilzeichnung nennt als Anforderung ausdrücklich "Teil frei von Stanzgrat im Bereich **Rammkontaktierung**".

Might it be a typo? There are zero ghits for Rammkontakt.

Could be company-specific term as it is nowhere to be found on the net. How about: "free from burrs in proximity to the contacts." - as the author of the text himself interchanges the terms.
