Collo = packaging/packaging unit - Sammelkarton = consolidation carton Explanation: Kolli = shipping container/packaging unit/packaging They probably mean "Kolli" which is the German spelling for an all-encompassing Italian term for transport package/container (in the old sense of container = Versandbehälter). It could be a box, carton, barrel, crate, in wrapping paper, or anything. Sammelsendung is consolidation consignment so I believe consolidation carton would be OK for Sammelkarton - HTH - Dan |

Collo (plural= colli) Explanation: Italian (but used in German, Dutch, etc) for 'package' (unit of package), sometimes also translated as 'pieces', 'units'... The plural 'colli' is often also used as singular. Used mainly when talking about piece-goods. 'Please enter the number of packages/pieces or collective cardboard boxes...' Term(s) very often used here - no dictionaries needed (for once :-)). |
