German term or phrase: Paketbeilage
this is anything included with a package the customer has ordered eg you buy a computer and when you open the box, you find a flyer advertising anti-virus software or a CD with free internet access etc

if the item were found in a publication, I think we would call it an 'insert', but can we really say that for something rather larger delivered with a package eg a sample of shampoo or a free hairbrush?

that might perhaps be a 'giveaway' or 'freebie' but is there a term which would cover all these examples?
