German term or phrase: Marktfrequenz
Die Marktfrequenz und auch alle anderen Kennzahlen der Aktion wurden durch das Wetter beeinträchtigt

What they mean is the number of customers in the store that day. What would be the standard term for this in English?

  -> You may have a point. I've found the odd US hit, but it doesn't appear to be common in the States. Having said that, a lot of these terms are associated with pedestrianised shopping areas - and the Yanks tend to drive everywhere ...
