I don't think there is the need to be explict in EN about the anknüpfen bit, but you could say 'will again adhere to the original strategies' - I guess it depends on what role this person/company plays in relation to the strategies. Perhaps a bit more context would help to determine the correct verb.

Helen Shiner: It does say that he reverts to the 'original' strategies; it says nothing about having developed them based on any form of learning experience. We can only translate what is there, not alter the text./Probably he has but the text doesn't say so.
