Thanks Ilse - for your information I have since discovered that Automatenfolie is a foil on a roll which has 'eyemarks' - some kind of optical marking which enables the machine to cut the foil after the foil has been filled with product. This term in German is maybe not 100% correct, but is widely used in the industry - my client is actually in your country! 4 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer
