German term or phrase: Lasuranstrich
Does anyone have any idea what this might be? From a list of painting and decorating services on an invoice:

Herstellen einens Lasuranstrichs auf Betonflächen

All I can find is "scumbling coat", which does seem to exist in English sites, but is not very common. Can anyone confirm this or does anyone have any better ideas?

Many thanks!

agree  Ken Cox: yep -- a transparent gloss coating

-> Thank you. But it doesn't have to be transparent, the stuff I used is making the cheap pine wood look like posh dark wood... it is a glaze but not thick as paint. Something in between.

agree  Max Masutin: or maybe glaze finish
