This is from a job ad from a Swiss comoany. The term seems to be Swiss. It is often used in the context of Werkstoff- und Zeichnungstechnik, so I don't think it has anything to do with drafting:

Asker: David, the combination Werkstoff- und ZEichnungstechnik confuses me. To my mind, material technology and drafting are two different categories. Why put them together?
