In any case, the Anguß is the gate, not the sprue, so maybe Anguß-Anlauf means the sprue, but I cannot find any support for this idea from a Google search or any dictionary. It could mean 'sprue waste' or 'sprue wastage', but it could also mean something like 'startup gate waste( of wastage)'. |

start-up scrap Explanation: This is what BMW calls it in the US. It has to do with "first-part" approval of an injection molded part, once the injection molding machine is running at idle. HTH |
