German term or phrase: Bruchgleichungen
Bei der Bestimmung von Schnittpunkten zweier gebrochener rationaler Funktionen treten Gleichungen mit Bruchtermen auf. Solche Gleichungen nennt man Bruchgleichungen.

This is from a (year 9 UK, I think) Mathematics text book. Any bilingual Maths teachers out there?
