This is in connection with a profile clamping screw. The description lists out the features, one of which reads "Immer bündige Auflage auf dem Profilund gelb passiviert" What would Auflage mean HERE??

always flushing contact
Explanation:
bündige Auflage means here, that there will be no space between the screw and the profile. It comes from "auf etwas liegen"= "to lay on something", see also LEO.org "Auflagefläche"

neutral  Ken Cox: I'll buy 'flush contact', but not 'flushing' (flushing is first of all an action or process, and secondly something you do with a liquid (e.g. toilet) or gas)
1 hr
-> I agree with Ken Cox; 'flush' is more correct than 'flushing'
