Echoing Nicole's remark (I can already see her turning green...): it's amazing how many companies that recognise the value and accept the cost of professional fashioning of their corporate message treat the translation of their message as though it were the same in every language and simply a matter of plugging in the corresponding words, preferably as cheaply as possible.

The reason I didn't provide more context is because the motto seems to refer more to their way of working than to their products, but here are some sentences that may be useful:

Don't you think it'd be easier to find a suitable solution if we knew what kind of company it is, or what machines they make? They probably put some thought into their German motto...

Hi Zoe - corporate mottoes cost a lot of Euros. It would be nice if we colleagues could at least learn a bit what the product is about? Drill bits? Juicers? Furnaces for cremation? Thanks in advance! :-)
