German to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Mechanics / Mech Engineering / Engineering drawings
German term or phrase: Signum
All,

I am translating test protocols for explosion proof equipment.
In a section titled 'Technical documentation, reports, EuT' there is a table listing engineering drawings submitted by the applicant to the certification authority.
Columns in this table are:
"Anlage Nr.| Zeichnung Nr.| Rev.| Bezeichnung| Seiten| *Signum*"
A typical line is:
"1| D 26/2006| 02| Betätigungssystem| 4| 29. Jan. 2007"

Therefore, the "signum" is - in this particular case - used for a date and not for signature or sign.
Could it be "Sign off date"?

Thank you
