Anybody out there on a lazy Sunday have an idea of how to translate this in the following context:
Bei diesem Verfahren fixiert man die Bauteile vor dem Laserschweißen an zumindest einem der überlappenden Flächenabschnitte durch örtlich wirksame Kaltfügetechnik, vorzugsweise mittels Niete (3a) oder Schrauben, formschlüssig zueinander und verschweißt sie anschließend durch Laserstrahl miteinander.
