Medical - Medical: Cardiology
German term or phrase: kaliberstark
In coronary angiography, a branch is described as 'kaliberstark'. Does this just mean 'wide' or something more, e.g. 'patent'.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks - I think I will just put 'wide'. The reference did show the term in the right context, but I wonder whether 'large bore' is used more often for the devices being used?
