On second thought, it is probably an I after all, so it must be ramus marginalis I, or first marginal branch (as there is also a ramus marginalis II).

| Grading comment Thanks, Melanie. I looked again very closely at the text and compared letters to other places in the text, and decided it probably was an "I", so I translated "RM I" as "first marginal branch", as you suggested.
