Name of drug - here a local anaesthetic - followed by sc - no other possible solution here.
The problem is lack of knowledge and proper research - not the number of eyes.

Thank you for the good advice, however, sometimes having an abbreviation and a number of possible solutions still doesn't help you figure out exactly which one it is. That's why I asked for help. It's always good to have someone look at the term in question with a clear head.

Perhaps invest in a medical dictionary before embarking on medical translation? They usually have a list of abbreviations.

The file I am translating has a ton of abbreviations. I am able to find most of them, but with some, I am simply at a loss. :)

Abbreviations usually don't show up in term searches and as I also wouldn't know what was asked yesterday, you haven't done anything wrong IMO.

I didn't see it. In general, I have trouble looking for abbreviations when I search terms. A lot of times I can't pull them up. Only if they are over 3 letters. But interestingly enough, even when I just searched for s.c. (from yesterday's list), the search didn't pull it up. I only was able to find it going back to the terminology list.
Am I doing something wrong?
