German to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Cardiology / Intracoronary ultrasound
German term or phrase: Hinterspülung
Mit einem [...] Katheter wird die RCA in Grayscale, virueller Histologie und Chromaflow untersucht. [...] Im Stent gute Entfaltung und gute Adaption im Rahmen der durch den alten Stent vorgegebenen Möglichkeiten. Der Chromaflow zeigt keine **Hinterspülungen** im Stentbereich.

Seems like a simple enough word, buy I can't come up with the correct translation.

TIA!

English translation:Backwash or backflow
Explanation:
Backwash is a term that can be used with stents and it would seem to fit here. Might be a bit too colloquial sounding? Then backflow might be more acceptable.

Hope it helps!

Haha, backwash is what we used to call what runs down on the inside of the glass when my little granddaughter took a drink :-)
