German to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Dentistry / implants
German term or phrase: Ansatz
From instructions for cleaning dental/orthopaedic implants before they are coated with a resorbable bioactive coating to allow early loading.

Before coating the implants are cleaned ultrasonically in baths containing cleaning solutions. The instructions for preparing the cleaning solutions:
Reinigungsmittel - name of the proprietary cleaning agent used; Badvolumen: 35 litres; Ansatz: 700 ml/Bad; Konzentration: 2%; Badtemperatur: 75%.

Would it be correct here to translate Ansatz as batch (in the sense of the amount of material needed for an operation)?
I realize Ansatz has already been dealt with and I apologise if I have overlooked a suitable translation here.

Explanation:
I guess it fits with the context. In fact it is a "concentration" but this comes afterwards.
