I'm a little uncertain about how to translate "übergehen in" here. My current tentative translation is as follows:
"The gingiva consists of the free gingiva, or unattached gingiva, which merges into the oral cavity epithelium."
I'm not 100% sure whether "merges into" would be correct. I have seen that "übergehen" can mean "descend". Would that be more appropriate? Please let me know what you think, and TIA for your help. |
