Explanation:
This term is an accepted term among my English clients. The context is usually either belt floors or slat-and-chain floors, which advance to the end of a trailer to unload material, thereby feeding the materila to the rear door. Whereas 'feed rate' would typically be something like "Fördermenge/Förderung" (Hi Andrew :-))
