"Dieser Patient wurde im Rahmen der Behandlung eines im Mundraum befindlichen Tumors an den Autor dieses Videos überwiesen. Die Tumorbehandlung soll ***außer chemotherapeutisch auch durch Bestrahlung*** erfolgen.

Bei einer derartigen Bestrahlung sind stark beschädigte oder prothetisch schlecht versorgte Zähne ein Störfaktor. Der Behandlungsauftrag im Rahmen dieser Überweisung lautete deshalb auf die Entfernung von 13 Zähnen. Gerade im Rahmen einer solchen Maßnahme spielen optimale hygienische Gegebenheiten eine große Rolle. So bedeutet hier die Behandlung der Extraktionswunden mit nascierendem Sauerstoff eine signifikante Anhebung des Heilungsverlaufs."
