Explanation:
I first thought "cannot be cultured", but culturing is apparently not the only way of "anzüchten". The URL says anzuechtbar is the same as isolierbar (page 6).

My reply was for \"nicht anzüchtbar\". The correct reply for the asker\'s actual question (anzüchtbar) should be \"can be isolated\".

There are two groups of microbes, the rickettsia and bedsonia, that are bacterial in nature, but which do not fit into any of the major bacterial groups. They are extremely difficult to cultivate outside of a host cell.
