Filter type: AX (for group 1 low boilers). In case of a maximum contaminant concentration in inhaled air of 100 ml/m3 (0.01 % by vol.), group 1 may be used for a maximum of 40 min. In case of a maximum contaminant concentration in inhaled air of 500 ml/m3 (0.05 % by vol.), group 1 may be used for a maximum of 20 min.

During plant operation, HTF will degrade into components of high and low boilers (substances with high
and low boiling points). The low boilers are removed from the process through the ullage system. HTF is removed from the HTF surge tank and flashed, leaving behind high boilers and residual HTF. The flashed vapors are condensed and collected in the ullage system.
