German to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Instruments / Elektrik | | German term or phrase: Funktionserde / Funktionserdung | American English required.
The German user manual of a medical treatment chair mentions the terms Funktionserde / Funktionserdung. I know that it is a functional earth in British English.
The electrical terms earth/earthing in BE are usually ground/grounding in AE. However, despite online research I have been unable to find any convincing evidence that AE uses the term "functional ground" in the sense of a functional earth.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. (No guesswork, please.) |
