Asker: Thanks for taking the trouble, Andres. While I am convinced that the Hohmann retractor is an important tool in hip replacement, I don't think that it's the translation for Kastenhaken, mostly because my report mentions the "Hohmannhebel" several times in addition to the "Kastenhaken". So surely it must be something else, otherwise the doctor would have said "Hohmannhebel" again.
