German to English translations [PRO] Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals
German term or phrase:OH+
This is a doctor's answer to the question of which drugs he has prescribed for the patient in question:
"OH+, Metoprolol, Euthyrox"
Metoprolol is, I believe, a betablocker, and Euthyrox a supply of thyroxine, but what is OH+ in this context? (Not an ion...)
Please look at the context - it is a list of drugs prescribed to a patient, who evidently suffers from more than one disease (Urico) as he or she is receiving very different medications. No explanation is given of which diseases these three drugs relate to (Cilian). Metoprolol is prescribed for hypertension and Euthyrox for hypothyroidism, but I can't think of a disease for which one would prescribe a hydroxyl radical (sibsab), or indeed how it would be delivered.
