Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals / side effects of drug
German term or phrase: buschtiliose Entzündung
letter of complaint by a patient to a drugs company re the side effects of one of their preparations (severe rashes, swelling, inflammation, stomach pains). After describing these side effects, she said she consulted a doctor who “erklärte mir, das ich eine buschtiliose (sic) Entzündung habe” which the doctor then attributed to the above preparation.

I’ve reproduced above exactly as written but it could be a typo by the writer.

agree  Ingeborg Gowans: makes sense here; btw a lot of websites with "pustulärer entzündung" schien sich auf Hunde und Katzen zu beziehen.

-> Thank you, dear Ingeborg! I agree with you! But there are also a lot of entrances in Google books!

agree  sivara: sounds good to me! It could be that the doctor was swabian. We use 'sch' instead of 's'! Then it really makes sense after all!
