German term or phrase: Unterdruck
I'm in the middle of a medical translation, but this section is discussing cross-contamination and areas at risk in the actual building. I have translated 'Unterdruck' as negative pressure, but I'm a bit stuck with the word in this sentence as it doesn't make sense to me in connection with the '5 gennanten Flur'.

I'd appreciate help within this context. Thanks

(Liquida 1 and 2 - is an area of the building previously referred to where liquid medicines are prepared)

It states that of the rooms/areas previously referred to, the following can be identified as critical - this is one of them:

'Liquida 1 und 2, da diese Bulk-herstellenden Bereiche im Unterdruck zum unter 5 gennanten Flur stehen."

lower pressure
Explanation:
I agree with Dr Lofthouse - these areas are at a lower pressure.
Unterdruck can mean a vacuum or area of low pressure, and the 'zum' makes it relative.

I assume that the 'unter 5 gennanten Flur' is the area referred to in section 5 of the document

agree  Peter Zauner: air pressure in these areas is maintained at a lower pressure than areas mentioned under (section, paragraph) 5. Don't let yourself get confused by the two "unter". The first refers to the lower pressure, the other one refers to text mentioned under § 5.
