German to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals
German term or phrase: 5 ml à 60 mg = 300 mg
"XXX wird als intravenöse Infusion gegeben. Dabei wird 1 Ampulle (*5 ml à 60 mg = 300 mg*) verdünnt in 500 ml einer physiologischen Kochsalzlösung (NaCI 9 mg/ml) oder 5%iger Glucoselösung (50 mg/ml). "

Again, Swiss SmPC for a anti cancer drug. Can't seem to wrap my head around the wording here.
In so many words "(5 ml, each ml containing 60 mg, equivalent to 300 mg)"?
Under the "Packungen" section the ampoule is described as "Inf Konz Amp 5 ml"

Somehow this should be obvious, but somehow isn't.

TIA for your help.

agree  Nils Andersson: Yup. I learned in grade school (in Sweden, but it makes no difference) "if you see 'à' it means multiply".
