friable ampoule


Explanation:
I got this term from my Woerterbuch der Medizin u. Pharmazeutik, Bunjes.
It means easily crumbled or pulverized.
I still like the "emetic pill or ampoule" because it speaks to the medical situation, i.e., it might be an emergency measure.
Moreover, who would know from the German what the contents of the "friable ampoule" are?
I guess "ampoule" is better than "pill" because the two forms are different.
