German term or phrase: Einlesekreuz
Das CT-Kreuz wird mit einem Einlesekreuz für den Roboter verlängert
English translation:readin marker
From ref 1, which illustrates a CT-Kreuz among others, it is evident that the Einlesekreuz is an orientation marker that is applied to the bone (or somewhere) for the benefit of the robotic system. Although ref 1 uses the term 'spot', I got no relevant G0ogle hits for 'spot' + orthopedic + robot' , but Ref 2 uses the term 'marker' (or to be more precise, 'fiducial marker').
